The homepage of booking.com will come. Select the currency you will do the booking.
You can also select the language that you want .
Inside the yellow page .. select the name of the place you want to go.
Fill in check in and checkout date.
And how many people lodging into the hotel and click the search properties button.
After searching it will give you a list of hotels and properties found, which are
available in for example (Budapest,London,China or Lagos)
or anywhere you desires to travel to.
The next question is which one will you BOOK?
Now if you select on top yellow button written MAP VIEW..
IT WILL DISPLAY ALL THE CITIES AREA THAT YOU ARE TRAVELLING
TO WHILE HIGHLIGHTING ALL THE HOTELS WITH IN A BLUE COLOR.
In which if you click on the blue mark it will show the name of the hotel and the currency amount of the nights you booked,
2 nights or 7 nights.
Just to see the general view.. so you can click on the same
MAP VIEW to go back to list.
You can click on the lowest price first to check or highest price ..
What is important is the link on the right hand side that says,
“FREE CANCELLATIONS”. up to 1 day or seven months or so.
Other ones is “BOOK WITHOUT CREDIT CARD”.
That’s means you don’t need anything , only your EMAIL ID and ADDRESS. And you can attach your confirmation page for your visa applications.
I am 100% sure that embassy will accept your booking, so when you arrive you can check into the hotel and pay in cash.
So you can check other available rooms , hotels prices , hostels ..etc .. to decide the one to book,
check the picture of the apartments or rooms and other things attached to it ,like free WiFi,launch included, etc..
Also lookout for other guest review and see if everything is OK as it suppose to be with the hotel or guest house services.
Make sure you click on “FREE CANCELLATION BEFORE “27TH September 2020 or any date shortly after you arrival into the intended country.
What this means, is that ,when the immigration officers do normal checking at the control ,
they will be sure that your accommodation is correct and secured.
Hence, you will need to click on
(NO PREPAYMENT NEEDED,PAY AT THE PROPERTY)
You can cancel a day before your arrival, so create a gap date between your arrival into the country and cancellations date and time, this is very important.
My advice is also to let someone take care of this on your behalf, because you might be so busy that
you end up forgetting your bookings, unless you intend staying in that accommodation.
In other words,shortly 18 hour after the check in date, the hotel management will charge your credit
or debit card for a cost of one night and subsequent cancellations fee will be deducted a swell. for an example ,
If you cancel before 28th September 2020, you will be charged the first night if you arrive 18 hours after on the same date.
So make sure that after you finished selecting , click on
“I WILL RESERVE”, on the left hand column of the website .
Make sure you go through the whole “BOOKINGS” as you do in a flight bookings.
What you will see is what you will pay, the hotel or apartment fee.
“NO PAYMENT NEEDED TODAY, YOU WILL PAY WHEN YOU STAY”
Enter your card details .. are you travelling for work..
Say “NO”.
If you are travelling with a guest , your wife or friend or kids , write their names and email them also.
SAY HELLO TO YOUR FRIEND OR SEND A REQUEST..
You can write any other request Like i am checking out late or need a hot meal .just include it inside the box.
Arrival time, you can click
“I Don’t KNOW”
and Cross check and click CONTINUE.
Another page will come requesting for your details such as your address etc.. enter it
Put in your mobile number .. And on the question ..
HOW DO YOU WANT YOUR HOST TO CONTACT YOU?
Select by “EMAIL”
After, click on “COMPLETE BOOKING”.
ON CONFIRMATION PAGE
CLICK ON “PRINT CONFIRMATIONS”
